"Borna Sosa Poised to Join Crystal Palace: A Dynamic Left-Back’s Journey to SE25"

It looks to have all but sealed a deal at SE25. With his recent loan spell in Italy at Torino coming to an end, the young and promising versatile Ajax defender might just be a welcome addition to Oliver Glasner's system.
Able to slot into a left-back or left wing-back position, this might give Ollie some options and provide balance to an already well-oiled right-back setup. At just 27 years of age, he has already experienced league and cup double-winning seasons during his time at Dinamo Zagreb (2015-16 and 2017-18). A five-year stint in Germany followed with VfB Stuttgart. With nine assists to his name in the 2020-21 campaign, further success followed with more recorded assists as well as getting on the scoresheet in the 2021-22 season for the German outfit.
With experience in both the UEFA Europa and Conference Leagues during his current tenure in Amsterdam, this could be a literal steal for what looks like a fee of around €4m.
He's no stranger to the international setup either, with a handful of appearances under his belt for the Croatian national team, including a Nations League runner-up medal in 2023. It will be incredibly exciting to see how he features for the FA Cup winners in South London and, all being well, some more game time in a European campaign. This could come at exactly the right time in Sosa's career, and here's hoping he gets a taste of the club during preseason.
